Released in conjunction with Jobs for the Future, Demand-Driven Education, concludes that we are on the cusp of a new wave of postsecondary education reform— “demand driven education” — marked by programs focus more strongly than ever on ensuring graduates are job-ready and have access to rewarding careers over the course of their lifetimes. Demand-driven education adapts to the needs of the learner and the employer.
Unleashing Greatness
Working with members of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Education, this playbook was drafted and developed to see what principles make up an innovative education system. The playbook continued the conversation around the second component of great education systems – how to spark innovation in education— drawing from case studies, practical experience and focusing on solutions applicable to all levels of education leaders.
Leading in an Era of Change
Written in conjunction with Education Counsel and Digital Learning Now, this report documents how US states are leading the way as laboratories for innovation and using Course Access to focus learning on the needs of students. It is a resource for states to craft their own policies. With state-driven leadership and cooperation, we can achieve the promise of this program, hold providers accountable for high-quality courses and ensure equity of access for every student.
